Are you a history fan who loves a good story, but perhaps finds the idea of a dry, hours-long academic discussion about ancient pottery shards a tad... exhausting? Then you've stumbled upon your new favourite listen! We're Not Experts, and trust us, the title is less a humble brag and more a stark warning.

Join Sarah and James – two individuals with far more enthusiasm than actual qualifications – as we bravely (or perhaps foolishly) dive headfirst into any and all aspects of history. From forgotten wars to questionable fashion choices of the past, absolutely no subject is off-limits if it happens to pique our rather niche interests.

 

Expect a healthy dose of humour, plenty of good-natured banter, and our best attempts to unravel complex historical moments and make them, dare we say, comprehensible. We're amateur historians, sharing what genuinely excites us, proving that history doesn't have to be intimidating to be absolutely captivating... or at least, mildly amusing.
